In celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the famous Chicago restaurant, Gene & Georgetti; we had the honor of being asking to film a documentary about its rich history. From “The Regulars” who have been customers for over 50 years, to untold stories of Frank Sinatra and Lucille Ball, to the “Schultz Special.” Whatever your story, at Gene & Georgetti, you’ll be treated like family!

We absolutely love the flexibility of the Atlas 30 which we used throughout the love story. We’ve swapped out for longer rails, been able to do upside down dolly shots and also vertical tracking shots. Its a great tool that just gives us lots of creative options to tell the story better.

From their first date at Sushi Wabi to Halle’s favorite snack (cucumbers) – we just couldn’t tell their story without incorporating food! “Of Food + Love” premiered during Halle + Frank’s reception at Gibson’s bar + steakhouse in Chicago. It sent emotions through the roof! The same day shots were a huge surprise to everyone – watch their reactions at the end of the film! Congratulations Mr. + Mrs. Dichoza!
